We’re proud to announce that Wesley’s virtual tour has won an international marketing award, placing third behind schools in the UK and America.
The Brilliance Awards are organised by InspirED School Marketers in the US and judged by a panel of 85 marketing experts from around the world. It is the only international competition that recognises excellence in private and independent school marketing and communications.
The College’s tour was created with YouTour, who did a sensational job of capturing the personality of the College. In keeping with our efforts to continually push innovation, the College was drawn to YouTour’s unique interactive fly-through virtual tour platform, which uses drones, clever camerawork and intelligent editing to create a distinct sense of movement.
The judges, who gave scores based on originality, persuasiveness, script, visual elements, execution, and overall appeal, commented: “What stood out to me about this particular virtual tour was that it provided the perfect blend of independent exploration and guided dialogue.
“I was not left fumbling around or wondering where to go next — there was a clear pathway and the option to move at my own pace. I finished the tour feeling informed and welcomed as a prospective parent and knew exactly what to do next in the admissions process.”
