The Educate Plus awards celebrate the contribution of professionals in schools – championing efforts in fundraising, admissions, alumni engagement, community relations, marketing, and communication.

With entries from as far afield as India, New Zealand, Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore, the standard of competition was extremely high, with Educate Plus receiving the largest number of submissions in the award’s history.

The College claimed the Team of the Year award after becoming the only school to be shortlisted in every category.

  • Admissions: The Middle School’s immersive Superhero Experience Day earned a finalist spot for Best Admissions Event, while our innovative The Katitjin Effect promotion was a finalist for Best Admissions Campaign.
  • Alumni & Community Relations: The redesign of The Wesleyan was recognised as a finalist for Best Publication.
  • Fundraising: Our Annual Appeal, The Time Is Now, secured a finalist position for Best Fundraising Initiative.
  • Marketing & Communications: The Centenary It Started At Wesley campaign was a finalist for Best Marketing Campaign.

After the announcement, Ms Mary Henry, Wesley’s Director of Community Relations, shared her excitement: “I’m honoured to work alongside this world-class dream team. They consistently raise the bar, and this award reflects the outstanding effort they pour into every project. Whether it’s welcoming new families to the College, showcasing scenes from the school day to current families, or keeping Old Collegians connected, they go above and beyond.”

Mr Ross Barron, Head of Wesley College, echoed her sentiments: “Our Community Relations department brings our community together, sharing our story, and embodying the values of Wesley College. I’m constantly inspired by their creativity and dedication, so I’m delighted that they’ve received this recognition.”
