The Commissioning Service of our eighth Headmaster, Mr Ross Barron, was a solemn and moving event last week.
As a school of the Uniting Church it was important that Wesley College Chaplain, Reverend Nalin Perera, was given the opportunity to ceremonially mark Mr Barron’s appointment by inducting him with the responsibilities of the office.
The ceremony began with an Acknowledgement of Country by the Moorditj Mob:
And ended with an emotional address by the Headmaster, in which he outlined how overcame adversity with the help of a very special teacher:
