Throughout the year staff, specialists, the Wesley Sports Club, and external providers offer a variety of training, competitions and activities to students of different ages. These vary from term to term. The offerings are conducted before or after school.
Some of the Clubs we run are listed below. Parents are able to book their children into Clubs at the start of each term.
Language Clubs
Students learn simple French daily phrases, and participate in language and cultural activities related to French.

We ignite students passion for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) using LEGO®. Weekly sessions incorporate demonstrating scientific concepts and experimenting/play with finished models.
We Dare You Clubs
Do you like to ask questions? Do you find yourself often wondering what will happen next? In this club we will take a closer look at some really unusual and interesting art works and discuss what we see, what we think and what we wonder. All of this will take place whilst we enjoy a delicious breakfast snack inspired by the art work we look at. What a wonderful way to start the day!

Have you ever wondered what Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run and Fantastic Mr Fox have in common? They are all created using Stop Motion! If you are keen to learn the basics of how to create your very own Stop Motion animation, then this is the club for you.

Are you a creator? Do you like exploring engineering based challenges?  If so this club is for you! Come and along and be challenged solve and create STEM projects – no screens involved!

In Homework Club, we will focus on students of all abilities having an extra half an hour at school to work on completing their homework.

Do you love to trap your imagination on paper? Do you have a way with words? Join the Radical Writers Club to unlock the secrets of sensational story writing!
Pre-primary – Year 2
Come along and begin your journey in coding! Coding is the language we use to communicate with computers. When you program using Scratch you are engaging in the beginning form of block coding! Beginning with the basics of sequence programming is a great way to get started in the world of coding!
Years 3 – 4
Are you fascinated by technology? Do you enjoy tinkering to understand how machines work? If so, this club is for you! Come along and build mechanical computers powered by marbles to solve logic puzzles. Escape plant Eniac and discover how computers work.

Chess for Life
Years 2 – 8
A programme designed to give children an opportunity to learn how to play the game of chess and to gain from its many benefits. The program has been operating at Wesley College and many other Perth schools since 2001.
