Wesley College is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Rohan Mishra to its College Council.

Mr Mishra is a proud Old Collegian, having attended Wesley from 1982 to 1991 and is a highly respected legal professional and currently a Partner at Clayton Utz in Perth. Prior to joining Clayton Utz he worked at a global law firm in both London and Tokyo. He is a passionate advocate for the transformational power of education and has served on the Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee, including as the Deputy Chair.

Mr Mishra was unanimously appointed to Council at the June College Council meeting and is expected to contribute meaningfully to the College’s strategic direction in a time of ongoing transformation.

Chair of College Council, Mr Matt Braysher, said the Council was proud to welcome Mr Mishra into the role.

“Rohan’s combination of legal insight, commercial acumen and long-standing connection to the College community will be a valuable asset to the Council’s work,” said Mr Braysher. “We look forward to the depth of thought and global perspective he will bring to our governance conversations.”

Mr Mishra said he is eager to give back to the College that shaped him.

“It’s an honour to join the Wesley College Council and to be back at my old school,” Mr Mishra said. “I’m looking forward to contributing in a meaningful way and helping the College prepare for the future.”

Mr Mishra holds degrees in Law and Japanese studies from Murdoch University as well as a BCL from the University of Oxford after receiving the prestigious Chevening Scholarship awarded to emerging global leaders after graduating from Murdoch University.

Wesley’s College Council oversees the governance, strategic direction, financial operations, and master planning programs at Wesley College.
