At the start of the new year, before school returns, the Year 7 students will engage in an Orientation Day program. This will include any new Year 8 students.
The program is designed for boys and their father/guardian to participate in Tutor Group activities in the morning. The purpose of the day is for the students to get to know other boys from their Tutor Group better and for their fathers/guardians to meet and get to know each other as well. It consists of rotational games and activities which are both fun and require some degree of skill, with boys and their father/guardian competing against one another in their Tutor Groups.
If it is not possible, or appropriate, for your son’s father/guardian to be present, an older brother, male relative or friend of the family is a perfectly acceptable substitute. Alternatively, arrangements may be made for a school provided partner for your son, so please contact us if you have any concerns and we can assist.
