The Music Eisteddfod at Wesley College provides students with experience in public performances as well as being able to listen to others. It is an opportunity to build confidence and experience and receive helpful, personal reports from adjudicators.
This year’s event, held on Saturday 31 August, saw over 100 musicians perform with adjudicators, families, friends and staff enjoying the fabulous music. Each winner of the Advanced sections of the Music Eisteddfod was then invited to perform at a Winners’ Concert on Thursday 5 September.
Congratulations to Nathan Inkiriwang (Year 11) and Sebastian Vearncombe (Year 12), who won the Music Champion Award for their duet on piano and cello. Congratulations must also go to Byron Namdar (Year 6), who was presented with the Headmaster’s Award.
