‘I’ve never yet met a child who didn’t have a special talent.’

David Gee, Headmaster

Wesley’s educational philosophy has a strong focus on students’ character development, and the Headmaster and College staff encourage students to take responsibility for themselves, along with achieving a balance between personal best and the pursuit of excellence.

“A Wesley education is focused on the whole child – head, heart and hands,” Mr Gee said. “We believe that every student has powerful capabilities, skills and talents; our goal is to support them in activating this potential in order to create their own future. I’ve never yet met a child who didn’t have a special talent.”

Wesley College encourages students to take advantage of the wide range of opportunities across academia, sports and the arts. Its co-curricular activities include bands and orchestra, media, chess, F1, debating and drama, as well  as swimming, rowing, Australian Rules football, athletics and water polo, and more.
