Wesley College New Uniform
A uniform makes a statement about ethos, culture and community and this message is far more powerful if students are comfortable in the uniform and, subsequently, wear it with pride, something akin to a badge of honour.
To this end, Wesley engaged internationally renowned designer, Jonathan Ward, and worked closely with Midford, a specialist Australian uniform manufacturer and supplier, to develop our new academic uniform.
Feedback from perception surveys over the past few years, along with a number of staff, student and parent focus group discussions, have been pivotal in the fine-tuning of our design concepts.
The design images which you can see on the downloads, tell some of this story. The photos, in the gallery below, tell more of the story and show our students wearing the uniform.
Parents and students can now get a feel (literally) of the new uniform. Our Wesley volunteers were the first group of adults to see the parade of the new academic uniform recently. Our 'models' have been showing the new clothing range to their peers at sub-school assemblies during the past few weeks and the feedback from both students and parents has been favourable.
The Volunteer Sundowner was selected for the 'official launch' of the uniform to our parents - as a thank you to the many volunteers who help in so many ways across the College.
Some questions our community members might have are on our Questions and Answers list, so please have a read of these. If your question is not answered here, feel free to email email@example.com. We will continue to add questions and answers to this list.
