Annual Giving
Wesley College Then and Now
In 1923 Wesley College opened with 38 students and two buildings, and one of those was the current Ward building. Today, around 1380 students enjoy the facilities, technology and incredible learning opportunities in specialist learning areas in most parts of the College - but the job is far from done. School fees and government funding doesn't stretch to cover all the buildings and spaces where your boys learn or the tools they use in their learning.
Thanks to the very generous donors to the College over Wesley's 88 year history tremendous improvements have been made with the buildings and facilities on campus.
The traditional classrooms of the heritage Ward and Kefford buildings (the two buildings at the south-west side of the campus) now lack the flexibility required for the educational outcomes Wesley seeks to provide. Many of the classrooms are small and the desks inadequate for young adults. Whilst keeping the outside of the heritage buildings intact, we urgently need to update the internal learning environment.
Can You Help?
We know we can provide a state-of-the-art learning environment with your help, but we need to work harder than ever.
Will you consider the Senior School Refurbishment among your donations this year? Please say 'yes' and help Wesley boys now and for years to come.
