Wesley is a member of the Public School’s Association (PSA) and as such, the students participate in the PSA sporting programs. The College has developed a strong sporting tradition producing many fine athletes who have subsequently excelled in national and international arenas. However, for the majority of students, participation in the PSA sporting contests provides numerous life skills well beyond the focus of the end result.

These values are also enhanced through involvement in Inter-House sport and recreational activity opportunities.  All students are expected to nominate summer and winter sports and to represent the school if selected.  Inter-school fixtures for Year 9 students are on Friday afternoons, whilst matches for Years 10 to 12 occur on Saturday mornings, with major cricket games extending into the afternoon.
