Middle School students in Years 5, 6 and 7 are introduced to camps at three different activity centred, community based camps. These camps involve a series of group indoor and outdoor challenges. The four day Years 8 and 9 “Into the Outdoors” camps provide the foundation for experiential learning in a bush environment. Year 10 students choose an expedition at an appropriately challenging level to develop a growing sense of competence in dealing with and traveling through the natural environment. These expedition opportunities have an emphasis on safety and organisation, while enabling the students to experience some of WA’s remote, diverse yet stunning geographic locations.
