The Middle School operates under the College-wide Discipline and Pastoral Care Policy.  In Middle School, the pastoral care of students involves a particular role for the Tutor in caring for the individual boy. Boys’ pastoral skills are encouraged through mentoring, the House system, and other leadership opportunities.  In both management and policy, no distinction is made between pastoral care and discipline, as care of a student sometimes requires enforcement of the College’s disciplinary codes.
